Bed bugs

Bed bugs are six-legged oval shape insects that have two antennae. They can’t fly as they do not have any wings. Mostly they can be found on mattresses and visible to human eyes. But when it comes to the nymphs they are hard to identify. As for the color of these insects, adults are red-brown color whereas, nymphs are nearly colorless. The body size of adults is  1/4 inch and nymphs range from 1.3 mm to 4-5 mm. They can be easily identified by the reddish-brown fecal spots on the mattress.

Negative Impacts

If there are any bed bugs on the mattress, then there will be bite marks on the legs and hands. It is a well-known tell-tale sign regarding bed bugs. But only this won’t prove the infestation. There should be more evidence like bed bug molt skins, their eggs, empty eggshells. The main negative impact is the appearance of bite marks on the legs and hands. And also it is hard to get rid of them without the help of professionals.
